It removes all of the other distractions and leaves you with a very stripped down, Apple-like way of experiencing Facebook photos.
That's exactly what I had in mind when designing my apps. I wanted a simple, elegant, no-frills interface that put the focus on displaying your photos.
iPadevice also posted a great review of flickr Photos. It's in Italian (I think) and the reviewer assured me that the review was a positive one.
Finally, there's a great discussion on my app here at appadvice. Andy, Jeff, and Shane had some positive things to say about flickr Photos. Here's what Jeff had to say:
I have found this app to have the single best photo presentation tools of all the Ipad apps – free, paid or included.
In horizontal mode with thumbnails to side that are active buttons and the big image is capable of sliding with finger. You can find images lightning fast – much faster than and easier and better looking presentation than any other app I have found.
I have not read the other emails above but I see some complaining…might be issues but for me this is THE app I pull up when I want to show photos to friends quickly. If I were a pro photographer this would be a great presentation tool I would think… my opinion.
Love it! :)
Good reviews or bad, I love hearing feedback about my apps. I take feedback very seriously and strive to improve my apps.
I submitted updates to flickr Photos and fbook Photos yesterday. I also submitted a new app. Hopefully they'll be approved by Apple soon -- I'll let you know when the updates are available. Also, I submitted iPhone-only versions of my apps -- I wanted to be able to provide iPhone users with a less expensive option than the universal app.
